Commission for Protection of Child Rights. 2005

The Act came into force on 20 th January 2006.
Objective of the Act: to provide for the constitution of a National Commission and State Commissions for Protecting the rights of children and to ensure that Children’s Courts provide speedy trial of offences against children or violation of any child rights.
